Rent the Didsbury Museum

The Didsbury Museum is owned and operated by the Didsbury and District Historical Society. The building was constructed in 1907 as a school, and was designated a Provincial Historic Site in 1997.

The Museum is ideal for a committee meeting, off-hours tour, family reunions, birthday parties, baby showers, team building, celebrations of life, or for holding your wedding in our beautiful chapel. It provides a truly unique atmosphere, guaranteed to make your event a memorable success.

Many of our rentals take place in the Mercantile Room, which has tables and chairs and a full kitchen for your convenience. Another room chosen for its unique character and ambience is the Schoolroom, which provides fond memories for families and school reunions. Come talk to our Museum Manager about what might suit your gathering the best.

Turn west on Exit 326 onto Highway 582 (towards Didsbury)
Go 4 miles west to Didsbury
Continue west on 20th Avenue (was Hwy 582)

The Didsbury Museum is a non-profit making, permanent institution, in the service of society and its development, and open to the public, which acquires, conserves, researches, communicates, and exhibits, for the purpose of study, education, and enjoyment, material evidence of people and their environment.     To qualify as a Provincial Historic Resource, historic places like the Didsbury Museum must normally be associated with a significant aspect of Alberta's past and retain the physical site features necessary to convey this significance.
