Upcoming Special Events

Everything is outstanding at the Didsbury Museum! What follows are the activities and programs coming up this spring. Make sure you tell your friends!

Plant, Bulb & Seed Swap
Thursday, April 30 - 11 am - 12 pm

Have some extra seeds from a favourite plant? Need to split some bulbs? Maybe you just have a plant that you no longer want.

Come on out on the morning of Thursday, April 30th to swap some plants, bulbs or seeds or just pick up some extras we have here, or just come and chat about plants. This event runs from 11am until noon.

We will hold this event in the Museum yard, but will move indoors if the weather doesn't cooperate. There are a few picnic tables available to host your lovely greenery.

Contact the Museum Manager at 403-335-9295 so she knows you're coming. Hope to see you here!

Seniors Games Days
Every Saturday - 10 am - 1 pm

Come on over to the Museum for a rip-snortin' game or two! Typically a dozen or so playing mainly cribbage can be found in the Mercantile Room. Anyone of any age is welcome to come.

Stay longer if you like. Come see if your hand is better than Roy's!!

Canada Day Planning
April 27, 2026 - 6:30 pm

A committee has been put together to plan Didsbury's Canada Day celebrations on July 1st. We'd love to hear your cool ideas, so please know you are most welcome to attend this planning get-together. Phone Dawn at 403-335-9295 or just pop into the Museum on the 27th.

Vintage & Antique Mini Market
May 30, 2026 - 10 am to 3 pm

Take in the nostalgia from the many vintage and antique items in our market, and go home with a little piece of history.

It is the same day as the Didsbury's Community Garage Sale! The Museum will register our address with the Town (saving you that fee), and our location will then be added to the community-wide garage sale map. Copies of the map will be available by May 29th.

Anyone interested in becoming a vendor should contact the Museum's Office Manager at office@didsburymuseum.ca or call (403) 335-9295 any time during office hours (Tuesday to Friday from 10 am - 4 pm). Tables are $20 and can be e-transferred to the Museum. It is up to the vendor to keep funds raised from their items; donating a portion of sales to the Museum would be gratefully appreciated.

Wheelchair Accessible - Elevator - Free Street Parking
Admission to all our special events is free, but we hope you will consider making a donation to the Museum.
